Welcome to the CAHSA blog
Welcome to the CAHSA blog.
We are a nonprofit trade association formed in 1968. The members of the Colorado Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (CAHSA) serve over 12,000 seniors every day through mission-driven, community-based organizations dedicated to providing the services people need, when they need them, in the place they call home. Our members offer the spectrum of senior housing and aging services: congregate housing, assisted living residences, continuing care retirement communities, nursing homes, and home- and community-based providers.
While our membership is diverse, all members support our public policy mission to advocate initiatives which support the individual’s desire to live in the environment of their choice. Access to a full range of housing and service options, quality of life through healthy, affordable and ethical care, and equitable funding across the care continuum is the premise upon which CAHSA’s public policy initiatives and recommendations are structured.
